PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY 2026
Do you have a player that keeps getting overlooked for teams. A player needing to build their kete. Or simply wanting to prepare for the upcoming season. Then register for Netball Taranaki Player Academy.
A programme for all U16 and U18 players. Females and Male players welcome.
Recommended for players wanting to prepare for the upcoming season and interested in playing representative netball.
Players will be supported while extending their skills, fitness and personal development.
The skill sessions have been designed with increased intensity to prepare players for competative netball.
Coaches will work with players on techniques and excution of skills.
We offer experienced coaches that are currently in the Netball NZ coaching pathway, delivering sessions.
Players will gain a better understanding of NetballSmart workshops, goal setting, strength & conditioning, fitness testing, and fitness plans to assist in their preparation and development.
Players will build their skills and understanding of the next stages of competitive netball.
This is a 4- week program - $75
New Plymouth Dates: (Mondays) 9th Feb, 16th Feb, 23rd Feb, & 2nd March 2026
Stratford Dates: (Thursdays) 12th Feb, 19th Feb, 26th Feb, and 5th March 2026
We have the following age categories: U16 & U18. Male players welcomed.
