If you are 18+ as of January 1st, 2025, and are looking for a competitive challenge while representing our region at a national level, then the Open's Representative Programme is for you.
This program will give you a taste of the next level of your Netball Journey. This program is designed to extend your development mentally and physically, with the help from one of our well-skilled and experience coaches.
Expectations for this program are a commitment to training and tournaments. Training can be up to two times a week, and full attendance is a must unless prior consultation with Netball Taranaki and team management has been had.
You will attend one tournament as a lead-up tournament before Nationals. Nationals will be held in Christchurch 2025. Please note that for nationals, you will be expected to be away for the week.
The team travels on the Tuesday before the tournament commences and returns on the Sunday to return home. See above for dates.
There is a player fee required that will assist in costs for travel, accommodation, and food. This will be determined before the 2025 trials.
A compulsory uniform is required to be purchased.
Fittings will be available after team selection, and order forms will need to be completed at the same time as the player contract.
Uniform costs need to be paid for before the order is confirmed and sent through to our supplier.
