Year 1 & 2

The aim is to develop fundamental movement and ball skills. The game follows the preceding skill session, and 4 v 4 is played on one full third of a full-sized court with the emphasis on equal participation.

  • 4 v 4
  • 6 players maximum


Year 1-2 Match Day Schedule

All activities are included in the time allocated on court.

5 Minutes: Netball Smart Warm-Up (Junior Coordinator to lead a team warm-up)

15 Minutes: Skill Development (Junior Coordinator to demonstrate)

Match play: 2 x 8 minute halves

Following each game, Junior Coordinators will take 5 minutes to cool down your team.
