UMPIRE OPPORTUNITIES

Get a Front View of the Game

Umpiring is a vital part of Netball and is a means of keeping order within a match. It is an engaging way to maintain fun on the court in a safe way. From beginners to NZ level umpires, it is a perfect way to be involved.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced umpire, in order to umpire netball here in Taranaki we need you to become a registered umpire. To do this you are required to attend a 'Good Call Rules' workshop and complete the online module. Once this has been completed you will be able to umpire in any of our netball competitions and programmes we offer in Taranaki.

All teams in our competitions/programmes need to supply an umpire.

Umpire coaches are available to support you through your umpire journey.
