PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY 2026
Do you have a player that keeps getting overlooked for teams. A player needing to build their kete. Or simply wanting to prepare for the upcoming season. Then get them to register for the Netball Taranaki Player Academy.
A programme for all U16 and U18 players. (Females and Male players welcome).
Recommended for players wanting to prepare for the upcoming season and interested in playing representative netball.
Players will be supported while extending their skills, fitness and personal development.
The skill sessions have been designed with increased intensity to prepare players for competitive netball.
Coaches will work with players on techniques and execution of skills.
We offer experienced coaches that are currently in the Netball NZ coaching pathway, delivering sessions.
Players will gain a better understanding of NetballSmart workshops, goal setting, strength and conditioning, fitness testing and fitness plans to assist in their preparation and development.
Players will build their skills and understanding of the next stages of competitive netball.
This is a 4 week programme - $75.00
New Plymouth Dates: (Mondays)
9, 16, 23 Feburary and 2 March 2026
Stratford Dates: (Thursdays)
12, 19, 26 Febuary, and 5 March 2026
We have the following age categories: U16 and U18.
