MALE PLAYERS. SOMETHING EXCITING IS COMING!

We already welcome male participation in all our competitions and programmes across all of our Taranaki Satellites. This includes Saturday Satellite competition, development programmes, Spring and Summer league and Walking Netball.

Behind the scenes for 2026 we are working on something exciting to re-establish male participation in netball beyond our Junior Competitions.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Here at Netball Taranaki we off a range of player development opportunities from years 7 to U18's. Please see below for whats on offer.

Satellite Cup Programme

Is for ALL U14 players, turning 12, 13 and 14 years old in 2024.

Is a 4 week programme.

Offered in Hawera, Inglewood, New Plymouth, Stratford and Waitara. Subject to numbers.

Features a fun festival tournament day.

Player Development Programme

Aimed at years 7 and 8 netballers to assist and support transition into 7 aside netball.

Runs for 3 weeks in two locations - New Plymouth and Stratford.

Player Academy Programme

For all U16 and U18 players. Minimum age 15 years old.

4 weeks of sessions.

At two locations New Plymouth and Stratford.
