Our Summer League program has got off to a great start, with 22 teams playing across Stratford and New Plymouth.

The last night for Summer League is 25th March in Stratford, 26th March in New Plymouth.

We have had a good uptake on our walking netball program so far.  This is a free program aimed at getting more people involved in netball.

It is a great opportunity to brush up your netball skills if you haven't played for a while.

Interested in giving it a try? Come along to the Waiwhakaiho Courts on a Tuesday evening at 6pm.  The last week is Tuesday 12th March.

Our Player Development programs are in full swing. In Term one we have offered two player programs, PDP - our Player Development Program for years 7 and 8's and our new program PDA - Player Development Academy offered to U14s, U16s and U18s.

Our Player Development Program has run across three weeks on a Sunday in Waitara and Stratford. This year we had 42 year 7 and 8 players registered. These players learned the transitional skills from 6 aside netball to 7 aside, as well as improving physical fundamental skills.

Our new Player Development Academy runs across 8 weeks and has been offered in New Plymouth and Stratford. This is for the players that are looking to put in that little bit extra before the season starts.  The program focuses on improving fitness levels, provides an insight into positional skills and training whilst maintaining fundamental skills. We have 94 registered across all three age groups and 7 coaches assisting.
